OH-B3 History from 1995

 The first meeting was held at Shade’s Restaurant in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Shade’s was sold so the chapter moved to the Golden Corral in Whitehall.  The membership grew and the Golden Corral became too crowded so they moved to the Lennox Inn in Pickerington, Ohio.  Wagnall’s Library in Lithopolis became available at no cost to the chapter, so that’s where we went.  This became the meeting place for the next three years before returning to Obetz, where it originated.

 Over the past fourteen years, the membership has grown and changed as every organization does. Safety is first and foremost the most important issue with OH B-3, and we are striving to have all the members enrolled in the Levels program.  We have participated in many community activities in the city of Obetz ---parades, bike show, children’s Halloween activities, Easter egg hunt, etc.  Our largest project to date was the Toy Ride for Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio..

 Chapter B-3 has always been known as a “riding chapter”, which means we all love to ride (not just for an hour or two, but RIDE). We have been known to ride for several hundred miles in one day and love every minute of it.  We plan to keep this a “riding chapter” in the future and will enjoy every minute of it.
